Combinable 2D inspection of surfaces and contours

Missing retaining clips, unmilled threads, too much adhesive or an incorrectly shaped component: the Dualis from ifm detects this and any other deviation of the test part from the specified target state.

Surface areas, contours, omissions or object rotation can be viewed and evaluated individually or in combination. Thanks to the integrated daylight filter, the sensor is resistant to ambient light. The version with integrated polarizing filter is particularly suitable for applications with highly reflective objects.

The sensor is set up using the 'Vision Assistant' software from ifm. According to the supplier, real-time maintenance options ensure reliable quality assurance. For example, changes in the continuously checked image sharpness and image brightness indicate an unintentional misalignment. In this case, the sensor can automatically issue a warning.

The sensor is equipped with a stick on which the parameters are stored. In the event of a device replacement, the stick can be used to transfer all the settings and parameters required for operation.
