Security is integrated

In addition to WLAN data transmission, the HGW 1033-32 hand-held operating device from Sigmatek is equipped with safety elements, a high-resolution 10.1-inch multi-touch display and three rotary encoders.

Without cables, the operator can get close to the machine or robot and thus keep an eye on the process. The integrated safety elements - enabling switch, key switch and actively illuminated emergency stop - ensure the necessary safety.

The operator can keep an eye on the machine or robot and, for example, move the axes almost blindly using the rotary encoders. In addition, several processing cells can be operated with just one panel. A reliable 7-segment display for machine identification is integrated for this purpose.

Data transmission, whether function-related data or safety data, is handled via the BWH 01 base station according to the black channel principle. Redundant data transmission on separate WLAN frequency bands (2.4 and 5 GHz) increases the availability of the wireless network.
A battery pack ensures 2 hours of continuous use without recharging. The HGW 1033-32 from Sigmatek supports OPC UA communication and has USB interfaces as standard.
