Fabio Lodigiani as new Head of Safety Services

Hima, the specialist for safety-related automation solutions, has appointed Fabio Lodigiani as head of the new 'Safety Services' segment. As 'Group Vice President Safety Services', he will be responsible for and coordinate Hima's global service activities.

The new head of the 'Safety Services' segment at Hima, Fabio Lodigiani, brings with him over 20 years of experience in sales and support for major international customers.

Hima Paul Hildebrandt intends to bundle lifecycle management and services centrally in the newly created 'Safety Services' segment. The aim is to further expand the service offering through personnel and structural upgrading, to communicate more clearly to the outside world and to develop innovative services. As head of this segment, Lodigiani will report directly to Sankar Ramakrishnan, CEO of the Hima Group.

After completing his studies in electronics engineering, he initially worked for various manufacturers in the fields of automation and software and hardware in Italy. Lodigiani then held operational and strategic management positions in sales at the energy supplier E.on Energie in Milan for over six years. Finally, he spent nine years in various management positions in the sales organization of the cable manufacturer nkt cables. Most recently, he was Senior Vice President Asset Management with global responsibility for onshore and offshore services for high-voltage systems.
