The 'Machinery Safety Evaluation' service includes the evaluation of machinery in a production plant on site with regard to the applicable safety and conformity requirements. Pilz not only takes into account the applicable standards and directives at the place of use or destination of the machinery, but also individual, internal customer specifications on request. As a result, operators receive the current compliance status for each machine or plant at a glance on a clear and comprehensive software-supported dashboard. A list of measures with the corresponding recommendations for action - sorted by priority - shows an efficient path to safe machinery. Pilz provides support in implementing these measures on request.

The 'Machinery Safety Evaluation' is aimed at operators who want to have the safety and conformity of their existing machinery evaluated efficiently for full employee and liability protection. Machinery safety evaluation by Pilz is also suitable for machinery that is to be checked for its potential for retrofit measures or has been purchased.

The service is offered in two levels of detail - depending on the customer's requirements. In addition to the conformity of the safety status and the list of recommended actions for risk reduction at Level 1, Level 2 also includes an assessment of the main risks and a review of the documentation. If required, the experts will create a conformity overview according to specific company specifications, evaluate the maximum achievable Performance Level PLr for the tested sub-functions and optionally also submit a cost estimate for a possible upgrade.
