A new management team
As of July 1, 2021, the shareholders have reorganized the management of the Hima Group. The previous CEO Sankar Ramakrishnan left the company at the end of June.
On July 1, 2021, Jörg de la Motte (51) will take the helm at the Group as CEO and Dr. Michael Löbig (48) as CFO. Managing partner Steffen Philipp will focus on his duties as a shareholder in the future.
Hima is a fourth-generation, independent family business. The shareholder Ingrid Philipp, née Hildebrandt (granddaughter of the company founder) and her son Steffen Philipp want to keep HimaI in family hands in the future and further expand its position as a technology leader and solution provider in the field of functional safety.
Jörg de la Motte is an industrial engineer and most recently worked for the Bosch Group at technology specialist Bosch Rexroth. Dr. Michael Löbig studied business administration and most recently worked at Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG.
