Subsidiary established in Mexico
The Zimmer Group is opening a branch in Querétaro, Mexico, on August 1, 2021, thereby strengthening its activities in Central America.
With its own branch in Mexico, the Zimmer Group is continuing its global expansion strategy. In addition to its headquarters in Rheinau, Germany, the company now has 13 of its own locations worldwide. Vincent Zimmer, Managing Director of the Mexican subsidiary, explains the background: "In the past, the Mexican market was successfully developed by a local dealer. A few years ago, strong demand and the wishes of our customers prompted us to set up our first own sales team via our former US branch. Mexico is one of our key markets. In order to further strengthen our local market presence, we have now founded our own company - Zimmer Automation S. de R.L. de C.V. - in Querétaro."
Vincent Zimmer is the son of company founder Günther Zimmer. A graduate in economics, Vincent Zimmer gained experience in international sales and marketing as an assistant to the Group's management. As Business Development Manager in the USA, he recently expanded this further. He will continue in this position and develop and support selective key account customers.
