Pick-and-place application created quickly

With a ready-made software solution from B&R, machine builders can create pick-and-place applications in just a few minutes.

Pick-and-place robots open up new degrees of freedom for designers when designing production processes. In particular, machines designed for the production of small quantities up to batch size 1 and high product variance benefit from automated handling that is synchronized with the processes down to the microsecond. To create such applications, B&R offers a ready-made software solution for pick-and-place robots from the 'mapp Technology' modular software system. This allows applications to be configured intuitively by selecting ready-made function blocks. These are linked together in the editor so that an executable robotics application is created within a few minutes. In-depth robotics know-how is not required. Coordination with other axes, track systems, the B&R vision system or the web-based visualization 'mapp View' can be set up with just a few clicks. This eliminates a large part of the manual programming work.
