Thanks to the integrated object and personnel protection, the mobile robot with 'Advanced Interaction' can move freely around the factory. In addition to the safety laser scanner, stereo depth cameras capture the space in 3D. In addition to high and low obstacles, objects protruding into the path of travel beyond the laser range are detected.

A touchscreen display integrated into the vehicle console enables individual configuration and fast error management directly on the mobile robot. As part of the innovations, the range of functions of the 'ActiveShuttle Management System (AMS)' has also been expanded: The software for fleet and order control offers more degrees of freedom, so that complex work sequences can be created in addition to simple transport movements from source to sink.
