VDMA Robotics
New Management Board appointed
Andrea Alboni, Martin Kullmann and Alexander Mühlens have been newly appointed to the VDMA Robotics Board.
The VDMA Robotics Division has appointed three new board members. Andrea Alboni from Universal Robots succeeds his former colleague Helmut Schmid, who left the board last year and founded the German Robotics Association at the beginning of the year. Jörg Reger from ABB Robotics will be succeeded by Marting Kullmann, also from ABB Robotics. And with Alexander Mühlens, the Cologne-based company Igus is now the first member of the VDMA Robotics Board.
Volker Spanier, Chairman of the VDMA Robotics Board, on the appointment of the three new members: "We are delighted to welcome Andrea Alboni, Martin Kullmann and Alexander Mühlens, three new high-caliber experts, to our Board. The voluntary work in the VDMA Robotics Division, which has around 100 members, is more important than ever. We are currently observing a rapid technological development and are helping small, medium-sized and large companies to take advantage of the opportunities."
