Frank Konrad is the new Chairman
The Managing Director of Hahn Automation, Frank Konrad, is the new Chairman of the VDMA Robotics + Automation Association. He succeeds Wilfried Eberhardt from Kuka.

© Hahn AutomationEberhardt is stepping down from his honorary position as Chairman after three years, but will remain a member of the Association's Board of Directors. He was also honored at this year's general meeting of the VDMA Robotics + Automation Association for his services and extensive commitment to the industry. Dr. Dietmar Ley, CEO of Basler, was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Association.
"The robotics and automation industry continues to grow. We are seeing increased global competition and accelerated transformation processes. The VDMA's strong network helps us to seize the great opportunities that arise from advancing digitalization and rapid technological development. Medium-sized mechanical engineering companies in particular must realize that cooperation drives innovation faster. This will make us more sustainable and economical together and enable us to react to fluctuations in a more stable manner," said Konrad on taking office.
