GoodBytz receives the Robotics Award 2026
The Robotics Award 2026 was presented to the start-up GoodBytz at the Hannover Messe press preview on February 25. The award-winning product is an automated kitchen system for the quick and parallel preparation of individual dishes.
The Robotics Award is presented annually by Deutsche Messe at the Hannover Messe and honors robot-supported automation and logistics solutions. This year's award-winning solution is a robotic kitchen in which lightweight, compact industrial robots from Fanuc are used. They meet the requirements of food processing thanks to appropriate seals, food-safe materials and a high degree of protection against heat, moisture and cleaning processes. The robots are controlled by their own AI-based control logic, which enables intelligent process planning even when orders are received at the same time. These automated and flexible production processes ensure a high-quality and individualized food supply for clinics, universities or companies with constant performance, regardless of staff availability or order complexity. GoodBytz anticipates a strong increase in market demand due to the lack of skilled workers in the catering industry.
The award was presented by Dr. Jochen Köckler, Chairman and CEO of Deutsche Messe: "The award-winning solution from GoodBytz impressively demonstrates that robotics solutions from traditional industry are finding their way into new sectors such as catering and food supply. This opens up completely new fields of application and makes an important contribution to ensuring quality, efficiency and security of supply in the most diverse areas of life."
The prize includes a comprehensive package consisting of an exhibition space in the Application Park at the Hannover Messe and a presentation slot on the Spotlight Stage.
