EDAG and Framence Partner Up
Framence and EDAG Production Solutions have entered into a strategic partnership. Both companies aim to combine their expertise in digital twins and engineering to develop joint solutions for industrial production environments.
Framence and EDAG Production Solutions (EDAG PS) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), thereby establishing a strategic partnership. The signing took place at EDAG's Fulda location.
The goal of the collaboration is to combine Framence’s photorealistic digital twin technology with the EDAG Group’s engineering and smart factory expertise. Together, they aim to develop solutions that enable industrial companies to digitize buildings, facilities, and production environments, as well as to support planning and operational processes.
Combining Digitalization and Engineering
Framence develops dimensionally accurate, photorealistic digital twins that, according to the company, can be created quickly and cost-effectively. EDAG PS brings its expertise in the planning, development, and optimization of industrial production environments to the partnership.
“The combination of our engineering expertise and Framence’s innovative digital twin technology opens up new possibilities for the digitalization of industrial processes. We look forward to implementing our first projects and use cases together,” says Dirk Keller, Managing Director of EDAG Production Solutions GmbH & Co. KG.
Joint customer projects planned
In the coming months, both companies plan to identify joint customer projects and gradually expand their collaboration. The focus will be on applications for digital twins, data-driven engineering, and the Industrial Metaverse. The goal is to make these technologies commercially viable for industrial companies.
