Frame made of extruded anodized aluminium

The specially protected linear axes of the Plus System product family from Rollon act as the basis for multi-axis systems, Cartesian axis robots or the linear movement of SCARA robots. The system consists of the three product series 'ELM', 'Robot' and 'SC'.

All linear axles in the system have a self-supporting frame made of extruded anodized aluminium. They are driven by a steel-reinforced toothed belt. For applications in harsh environments or where there is frequent contact with water, all linear axes in the system are also available as corrosion-protected versions with durable stainless steel elements. The 'ELM' series offers four sizes from 50 to 110 mm profile width. The carriage is moved by linear guides or by an optional roller system. The linear axes of the 'Robot' series are suitable for applications with high load ratings where the carriage is subject to strong forces or for linear movements of complete SCARA robots to be used in production lines. The 'Robot' linear units are available in four sizes from 100 mm to 220 mm profile size. The linear axes of the "SC" series were specially designed for use as vertical axes in gantry construction or for applications in which the aluminum profile moves while the carriage remains stationary. They are available in three sizes with profile widths of 65 mm, 130 mm and 160 mm.
