Expansion of the UR+ robotics platform
Universal Robots is expanding the 'UR+' ecosystem with ready-to-integrate complete solutions for various challenges relating to the automation of manual tasks.
The first complete solutions that are currently being offered in Germany, Austria and Switzerland include welding solutions for MIG/MAG and TIG welding from Lorch and Migatronic. In addition, the Certified System Integrator and UR+ partner Ecosphere Automation offers a solution for the automation of punching, pressing and forming tasks. The 'URCap' software enables users to control the peripheral devices of the respective suppliers directly via the teach pendant of the UR robot. Universal Robots is continuously expanding its range of such complete solutions. The UR+ platform is used by developers to design accessories, end effectors and software solutions that are compatible with and certified for UR robots.
