Dr. Lars Friedrich appointed to the Executive Board
Dr. Lars Friedrich is a new member of the Executive Board of the VDMA Robotics + Automation Association. He succeeds Dr. Jürgen Hohnhaus, who stepped down from the board for statutory reasons.
The VDMA Robotics + Automation Association has a new board member: Dr. Lars Friedrich, board member of Dürr Systems and head of the Application Technology division, has been appointed to succeed Dr. Jürgen Hohnhaus. Hohnhaus stepped down from the board of the trade association for statutory reasons.
Dr. Friedrich on his new role: "The Executive Board of VDMA Robotics + Automation is driving forward the key issues of the future: artificial intelligence, interoperability using OPC UA, digital transformation, recruitment of young talent and the strategic development of important markets. As a new member of the R+A Board, I look forward to supporting these important topics with commitment."
