Cobot with 20 kg load capacity

Universal Robots is expanding its product portfolio with the Cobot UR20. Thanks to a new joint design, the cobot achieves shorter cycle times and handles loads weighing up to 20 kg.

A reach of 1,750 mm enables the Cobot to stack parts up to the full height of a standard 2 m Euro pallet. This expands the possibilities for companies that want to automate tasks such as packing and palletizing. The Cobot has a footprint of 245 mm in diameter, making it suitable for applications with a large working radius and limited space. The robot arm has been completely redesigned, while retaining the intuitive user interface. Beyond palletizing, Universal Robots sees a wide range of applications for the Cobot, from welding to machine tending. The company's partner network will develop these applications.
