Reliably recognize the finest details
Baumer is expanding the 10 GigE cameras in the 'LX' series with four new models. The cameras with Sony Pregius S sensors deliver 50 fps at 24 megapixels; more resolution is available with the 65 megapixel Gpixel models at 18 fps.
The models with Sony Pregius S-IMX530 sensor offer reduced shading effects thanks to backside illumination pixel architecture and, according to the provider, excellent image quality for stable evaluations. A compact optical format of 4/3 inch is made possible by the small pixel size of just 2.74 µm. Thanks to the C-mount, a variety of standard lenses are available for every application. If better image quality is required, TFL mount lenses can be used.
The GMAX3265 sensor from Gpixel used in the 65 megapixel models offers a dynamic range of 66 dB. The pixel size of just 3.2 µm results in a compact optical format with a diagonal of 37 mm.
This simplifies lens selection based on the M58 mount and reduces edge shading. Thanks to a minimum exposure time of 19 µs, motion artifacts can be reduced even at high object speeds, according to Baumer. Based on the M12 connectors, IP65 and IP67 as well as a temperature range of -30 to +60 °C, the cameras are particularly suitable for difficult environmental conditions.
