HTC and Dassault Systemes have joined forces to develop the market for business-related virtual reality solutions. The '3Dexperience platform' from Dassault Systemes - a networked virtual environment for companies that aims to create new customer experiences - will also be brought to life with virtual reality technology in the future. The company is using the possibilities of HTC's virtual reality goggles 'Vive' for this purpose. Applications that can be experienced up close should enable customers to imagine potential solutions in a realistic way.

"With the help of the HTC Vive, our networked 3Dexperience platform provides the user with a coherent image of the real world. This gives our customers exactly the collaboration platform they need for collaborative innovation - from brainstorming to marketing and sales," explained Bernard Charlès, President and CEO of Dassault Systemes.

"Virtual reality is a technology that is fundamentally changing both the business world and our lives. As a leader in its field, Dassault Systemes is demonstrating how companies can reimagine their operations with virtual reality to improve their products and services or develop an entirely new offering," said Cher Wang, Chairman and CEO of HTC.
