The WF50BTIFGDHTX display module from Taiwanese manufacturer Winstar will be presented by SE Spezial-Electronic for the first time at embedded world. It can be plugged directly onto a Raspberry Pi board. A small optional adapter, which connects the HDMI socket of the Raspberry Pi board to the HDMI socket of the display, eliminates the need for an additional HDMI cable. According to SE Spezial-Elektronic, the anti-glare TFT can be used in a wide variety of portable or embedded applications thanks to the WVGA resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, which is sufficient for most software programs.

The display, which is specified for an operating temperature range of 0 to 70° C, is available with and without a resistive touchscreen. A version with a capacitive touchscreen is in preparation.
