The B2B smartwatch

With its new smartwatch, Casio wants to offer a commercially used wearable for professionals in trade, logistics and industry.

As the first B2B smartwatch from Casio, the WSD-F20A-BPA is designed to be very robust. Among other things, it is water-resistant up to 5 bar (50 m) and complies with MIL-STD-810. Unlike many consumer smartwatches, it does not require a Bluetooth connection to a smartphone in order to be connected to the network thanks to the integrated Wi-Fi module. Users therefore do not need to be additionally equipped with a smartphone to enable meaningful commercial use.

To ensure that the smartwatch lasts a full working shift despite the permanent Wi-Fi connection, it has not only been equipped with a powerful and long-lasting battery, but has also been designed to save energy from the ground up. It also has a dual display that automatically switches between an economical black and white LCD for simple displays, such as the time, and a color TFT for displaying apps.

The B2B smartwatch also takes advantage of the Wear OS by Google operating system. Extensive functions and accessories that make it easier for administrators to commission, charge and manage numerous smartwatches at once complete the professional B2B package for the WSD-F20A-BPA.
