This protective layer ensures that the electrodes are not damaged and that the finger can glide easily over the surface. The customized installation module, which can be equipped with up to three metal probes on request, offers high chemical and mechanical resistance. The shock-absorbing stainless steel front panel has an IP65 degree of protection. The touchpad works on the principle of capacitance and reacts to the approach of a finger. It has no moving parts and has a service life of over 1 million operations thanks to the improved insulation. The integrated controller supports PS/2 and USB.
