In addition to the HMI touch system, the TPD touchpad series from ICPDAS also includes the appropriate development platform "HMIWorks". Users use the display editor to create the graphical operating concept and menu navigation. "HMIWorks" supports two alternative programming languages: the C programming language for IT users and Ladder Design for PLC users. The touchscreen with a brightness of 400 cd/m² and the in-wall solution with flush-mounted box are designed to meet the requirements of building automation. Appropriate surface-mounting accessories are available for retrofitting existing installations. Additional sensors and actuators, such as for air quality or humidity, can be integrated using the ModbusTCP and ModbusRTU protocols. The touchpad operates in the temperature range from -20 to +50 °C. Thanks to the economical 32-bit RISC processor, the touchpads can also be operated via PoE.
