The new EA uniTFT050 display from Electronic Assembly provides objects that can be positioned anywhere on the screen, zoomed, rotated and given attributes such as transparency or color. At the same time, the display offers the option of linking the objects to actions. Style sheets can be used to standardize the look of these elements. The displays are optionally available with a touch panel in resistive or PCAP technology. Multi-touch gestures can also be carried out with the PCAP touch. For connection to external devices, actuators and sensors, the displays have all the interfaces that are important in industrial electronics according to the manufacturer - such as SPI, RS232, I2C bus and USB. Several analog inputs, a PWM output and 16 digital I/O lines allow the display to be integrated into control tasks. There is also a video input for direct playback of image signals. With the EA uniTFT050-A model, a variant with a screen diagonal of 5 inches (12.7 cm) is initially available. Versions with diagonals of 8 inches and 10.1 inches are to follow shortly.
