The TAE 2343 control panel from Sigmatek offers a 23.8-inch multi-touch screen in portrait format. It is equipped with HMI-Link technology and can be positioned up to 100 m away from the control computer on the support arm of the machine or system. The display, video, audio and USB signals are transmitted loss-free between the panel and the 400 series industrial PCs using a standard Cat 5e or Cat 6 cable. The TFT color display with 1080 x 1920 pixels, full HD and LED backlighting is designed with projected capacitive touch technology (PCT). The continuous glass front is framed by aluminum strips and is IP54-protected. An RFID reader, a USB 2.0 type A interface and a VESA 75 connection device are also integrated. The HMI-Link technology is based on a pure hardware solution and is independent of the operating system. The panels do not have their own main processor and are therefore mechanically more robust and more cost-effective. Any changes to the computing power can be made flexibly in the control cabinet.
