Durabook at the Hannover Messe
AI-supported robust mobile computing solutions
Durabook, a provider of rugged mobility solutions and part of Twinhead International Corporation, is presenting its complete portfolio of ruggedized laptops and tablets to the German trade public for the first time at the Hannover Messe.
Durabook will be showcasing mobile AI PCs at the trade fair: the robust Z14I and the semi-rugged S14I notebook. The devices use artificial intelligence - in manufacturing, for example, to detect machine errors at an early stage through AI-supported real-time analysis and prevent accidents or production defects. Intel Core Ultra 5/7 processors and Intel AI Boost enable flexible working directly on the production line and support companies in implementing their manufacturing processes in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).
The company will also be presenting the latest versions of the R8-EX and U11I-EX rugged tablets (image). The ATEX-certified tablets have been specially developed for safe use in potentially explosive environments - for example in the oil and gas, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries.
In the field of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Durabook is cooperating with Ubisense, a provider of ultra-wideband (UWB) real-time locating systems (RTLS). A solution from both partners for the production environment will be on show for the first time in Germany at the trade fair: The focus is on the precise location of vehicles, equipment and people on Durabook devices. Tools and components can be located immediately without the hassle of searching and production is prevented from coming to a standstill. If employees or machines enter a danger zone, RTLS can trigger warnings in real time and thus prevent accidents.
