Android on the rise
Apple and Google have been battling for supremacy in the smartphone market for years. A Gulp study examines the distribution of IT projects in the market for mobile operating systems and apps - and shows: The current top dog will probably soon be replaced.
In 2015, most mobile projects revolved around Apple's iOS - but Google's Android is steadily catching up and will probably soon make the leap to the top. This is the conclusion of a study by the recruitment agency for external IT and engineering specialists Gulp. The projects of IT freelancers were examined and assigned to the different platforms. The subsequent comparison with the specialists' platform knowledge results in a supply/demand ratio. The image gallery below provides a detailed overview of the results:
