The trade fair for production is positioned as a platform for tapping into customer potential in the north, sharing knowledge, expanding networks and forging partnerships. This year, 192 exhibitors will present themselves on over 4,300 m² of net exhibition space. Dr. Markus Heering, Executive Director of the VDW, explains: "NORTEC in Hamburg appeals to an attractive market environment. Northern Germany, Scandinavia and Benelux are home to around 75,000 production companies, primarily from the aerospace, maritime technology, mechanical engineering and metalworking, energy technology and many more. Tapping into and serving these is a great opportunity for our exhibitors to further develop their business in the north." Heering emphasizes that the trade fair offers trade visitors production solutions for ensuring efficiency, quality and flexibility. The focus will also be on automation, sustainability and the integration of AI.
