Apply for the 'handling award 2019'

WEKA Business Medien's trade magazine handling is presenting the 'handling award' for the sixth time. Companies or individuals can submit their applications online until June 19.

The 'handling award' is traditionally presented at the Motek trade fair in Stuttgart.

The competition is aimed at all manufacturers in the field of mechanical, electrical and mechatronic solutions for industrial automation and the optimization of internal processes. It is aimed at outstanding and convincing technologies in the fields of handling technology, assembly technology, linear systems, lifting equipment, industrial trucks, transport and conveyor systems, warehouse technology, intralogistics as well as logistics software, warehouse systems, drives and automation components.

Awards are presented for outstanding products and system solutions in four categories:

  1. Components for handling and assembly
  2. Robotics - systems and peripherals
  3. automation
    • Sensors, measurement technology, quality assurance, image processing
    • Drives and control systems
    • Industrial communication / networking / electromechanical components
  4. Warehousing, order picking and intralogistics
    • Hardware: systems and components
    • Software for warehousing, intralogistics and logistics

An independent jury of industry experts will examine the applications received and select the winners. The jury will also present two further awards: the honorary award for the lifetime achievement of a personality and for the best start-up.
