Messe Stuttgart is expecting new records at AMB 2018 in Stuttgart: 15,000 square meters more space thanks to the new Paul Horn Hall (Hall 10), resulting in a total of 120,000 gross square meters and space for more than 1,500 exhibitors. They are expecting around 90,000 international trade visitors. The trade fair will focus on metal-cutting and metal-removing machine tools, precision tools, measuring technology and quality assurance, robots, workpiece and tool handling technology, industrial software & engineering, components, assemblies and accessories. With the expansion of the trade fair, the manufacturers of machining tools and clamping tools will occupy the neighboring Halls 1 and 3 and will no longer be separated by the East Entrance and the Atrium.

According to the organizers, the digitalization trend is also reflected in the trade fair program. In addition to the already established supporting events, the special show "Digital Way" will take place for the first time with an associated two-day congress on September 18 and 19. Using the showcases - Elabo Smart Factory and the Gewatec Learning Factory - it will also provide information on how industrial companies can exploit the potential of digitalization with the help of the latest information technology.
