Inka Krischke,

WLAN-capable process monitoring

Kistler has added new features to the ComoNeo process monitoring system for integrated injection molding production: The pressure curve in all cavities can now be monitored more precisely with a process-adapted envelope curve.

ComoNeo 4.1 is WLAN-capable for the first time and offers additional interfaces. Two new software modules (ComoNeoLDAP and ComoNeoLOG) meet the increased requirements for electronic recording in medical technology. With a WiFi-enabled USB stick, the system can be integrated into an existing company network via WLAN. Kistler only provides hardware recommendations, but does not sell any sticks itself.

The interface extension of the user interface (UI) provides more connectivity in both directions: Users can have external data - for example production data from the 'ComoDataCenter' or an MES - additionally shown on the 'ComoNeo' display using the 'External UI' function. The user interface of 'ComoNeo' can also be displayed via VNC on the machine control system, for example.
