Thermal imaging camera with zoom lens
The latest thermal imaging camera from Infratec is called 'ImageIR 6300 Z'. The compact zoom camera for precise thermographic temperature measurements is suitable for numerous fields of application.
The thermal imaging camera from Infratec is equipped with an integrated 7.5x zoom lens as standard and, in combination with its motorized focus, enables fast and stepless adjustment to a wide range of object distances and sizes. The zoom camera is radiometrically calibrated across the entire focal length range, allowing flexible use. The core of the thermographic camera is the SWaP camera core. This consists of a cooled MWIR focal plane array photon detector with XBn (HOT) technology in the format of (640 × 512) IR pixels, which was designed for demanding requirements and works in snapshot mode. The XBn detector material with higher operating temperatures (High Operating Temperature - HOT) of 150 K allows the use of a new generation of linear coolers, which, according to the manufacturer, are characterized in particular by a significantly smaller design, lower power consumption and long service life. In combination with a very small pixel pitch of 10 µm, this reduces the dimensions and weight of the camera. The maximum IR image frequency is 180 Hz and can be increased to up to 600 Hz using the binning function in high-speed mode. Switching between the two speed modes is carried out by software and allows the exact metrological tracking of fast thermal processes. With the help of its image processing electronics, the camera can output the IR image data in real time to several video and data interfaces as well as record and evaluate it independently. Alternatively, large amounts of data can be stored directly on the integrated SSD. The camera can also be operated using a smartphone or tablet via its web interface and is also suitable for outdoor use thanks to its battery operation option.
