Steve Herd is the new CEO
Distrelec, a distributor of electronics, automation and measurement technology, has appointed Steve Herd as CEO. He took up his new position on September 2, 2019.
Most recently, Steve Herd was Head of Customer and Product Proposition at Distrelec. He has over 22 years of experience in component sales.
Distrelec was founded in 1973 and was incorporated into the Technical Components (TeCo) division of the listed Swiss Dätwyler Holding in 1979. The company has a local presence in 15 European countries. It has distribution centers in the Netherlands and Switzerland and a central Enterprise Hub in the UK.
