Measurement technology division under new management

Andreas Pauly, previously Head of the Signal Generators, Audio Analyzers and Power Meters department, took over as Head of the Measurement Technology division at Rohde & Schwarz on July 1, 2017. At the same time, he was appointed to the Executive Board.

The 47-year-old Pauly succeeds Roland Steffen, who will retire at the end of 2017. Until then, Steffen will support his successor.

Roland Steffen has worked at Rohde & Schwarz for 40 years, including 14 years as Head of the Metrology Division. During this time, he has played a key role in the further development of the metrology division, laying the foundation for its continued success as Rohde & Schwarz's top-selling division.

Andreas Pauly joined the Rohde & Schwarz Group in 1996 as a software engineer. In 2003, he took on his first management position in the company, and in 2015 he was appointed head of the Signal Generators, Audio Analyzers and Power Meters division. Pauly drove the expansion of the microwave product portfolio and continued the success story of his specialist area.
