In future, the Endress+Hauser Group will manage its global logistics network from its own Logistics Operations Center in Ireland. A small team of logistics experts will shorten decision-making paths in day-to-day operations.

The task of the Global Logistics Operations Center is to ensure the smooth operation of global logistics chains. In recent years, the Endress+Hauser Group's global transport network has become increasingly regionalized and the portfolio of carriers and forwarding agents has been expanded. "Global supply and distribution networks require rapid decisions to be made in the same area," emphasizes Thorsten Wilkening, Head of Corporate Logistics.

With the establishment of the Global Logistics Operations Center in Ireland, Endress+Hauser is bringing the operational management of logistics processes back into the company. Previously, a service partner was responsible for this. The first employees were welcomed in December 2021; in March, the Global Logistics Operations Center started operations with 15 employees. The Global Logistics Operations Center is moving under the roof of the Irish sales company in Kildare, south of Dublin.
