Hanover Fair 2019The nominees for the 'Hermes Award 2019'
The finalists for the 'Hermes Award 2019' have been announced! Deutsche Messe, organizer of the Hannover Messe, has made its decision. The winner will be announced by Federal Research Minister Anja Karliczek on March 31 following the opening ceremony of the industrial trade fair.

The nominee was the "Human Interface Mate" ('HIM') from Belgian start-up Arkite - an innovative operator guidance system that provides employees with assembly instructions and orientation aids in real time via a projection and warns them in advance in the event of an error. The 3D object recognition technology guides the employee through their work process without errors and therefore not only helps to increase efficiency, but also improves the flexibility and quality of assembly processes. Manuals, checklists or handwritten protocols are now a thing of the past. Thanks to the modular, wizard-like nature of the 'HIM' software, project engineers can even create an assembly project without any programming knowledge. In addition, the amount of training required for new employees or for new products or variants is reduced. Commissioning of new workstations can be carried out more quickly. HIM' can be used in all industries with manual handling stations.
