Siemens buys Senseye

With the acquisition of Senseye, Siemens is expanding its offering for predictive maintenance and asset intelligence.

Since June 1, 2022, Senseye, a provider of scalable software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions for asset intelligence based in Southampton, has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Siemens holding plc in the UK. The company uses specific machine learning techniques and artificial intelligence for its analysis software. With the acquisition, Siemens is expanding its portfolio with innovative solutions for predictive maintenance and asset intelligence.

"Together with our portfolio of digital services, Senseye's AI-based solutions enable efficient and scalable predictive maintenance. In the future, we will be able to help our customers in numerous industries with highly flexible solutions to predict the condition of their machines and thus increase the overall effectiveness of their plants," explains Margherita Adragna, CEO Customer Services for Digital Industries at Siemens.
