New version of CAD software
The CAD software Creo from PTC is now available in version Creo 9. According to the provider, new features include greater user-friendliness and productivity.
New features of PTC 's software include updates to the model tree to speed up structuring, documentation and understanding of design intent, as well as a new surface splitting feature to improve analysis and product definition. In addition, more complex multiphysics functions from Ansys have been integrated into the simulation portfolio. There are also improvements in model-based definition (MBD) and detailing. Users can insert special downstream manufacturing information directly into the model, especially for surface treatment and weld seams. Advanced ergonomic tools help designers ensure that products comply with safety, health and workplace standards. With the field of view analysis feature, engineers simulate and visualize the user's line of sight and field of view when driving or using equipment.
