Mobile processing of maintenance tasks

Itac Software announces the 'Maintenance Manager', which is available for both workstations and mobile devices such as tablets. The digital maintenance assistant lists and defines all planned maintenance tasks in production.

It keeps a record of every component to be maintained, displays maintenance dates, provides access to instructions, allows completed work to be acknowledged and creates a maintenance history. A planning component is integrated into the maintenance manager. In Itac 's workbench, the tool is used to group maintenance tasks into maintenance orders and optimize them in terms of time so that as little downtime as possible occurs due to preparation/rework or conversion of the system to be maintained.

Maintenance tasks can be planned taking into account the required resources such as personnel, spare parts and tools. A clear chronology shows when which machine is to be serviced, where and by whom. Using the mobile application, the maintenance employee can work through the tasks assigned to him and confirm the completion accordingly or provide additional information. Spare parts management is also possible.
