Copa-Data
Management distributed over several shoulders
The automation software manufacturer Copa-Data has expanded its management team to three people: In addition to founder Thomas Punzenberger, Stefan Reuther and Phillip Werr are now also part of the team.
Until now, Thomas Punzenberger was solely responsible for the management of the company he founded in 1987. Now he has divided the responsibilities between a team of three. "We have doubled our turnover in the last five years to over 30 million euros, and the workforce has developed similarly positively," he explains. "In order to accommodate our stable growth, it is time to set the necessary course. My decision to spread the management over several shoulders is also a clear commitment to the continued independence of Copa-Data."
As Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Thomas Punzenberger (54) will increasingly focus on tasks in the area of 'Product and Innovation'. He sees great opportunities for growth based on the software systems developed by Copa-Data, particularly in the context of Industry 4.0 and IIoT.
As Chief Sales Officer (CSO), Stefan Reuther (37) will take over Copa-Data's sales and business development. Reuther has been with the company since July 2002. He began his career as a technical consultant at the company headquarters in Salzburg and subsequently held various positions in sales - from International Key Account Manager to Head of Business Intelligence at the Copa-Data subsidiary in Germany. As a new member of the management team, Reuther is now back at the Salzburg headquarters.
As Chief Marketing and Operations Officer (CMO/COO), Phillip Werr (36) is responsible for 'Marketing and Organization' at Copa-Data. Werr started his career there in December 2010, initially as a product marketer. From December 2012 to December 2016, he was Head of Marketing.
