Well-attended Artificial Intelligence Forum on 14.05.2019 in Stuttgart.
© Electronics | J. KrollOn May 14, 2020, the 3rd Artificial Intelligence Forum will take place at the Mövenpick Hotel at Stuttgart Airport. The three trade media Computer&AUTOMATION, Elektronik and Elektronik automotive are responsible for the content.
This year, the AI Forum will kick off with four keynotes from international and national AI experts:
Dr. Steven Peters from Mercedes-Benz will show that "AI as a tool for engineers" will shape all areas of a company in the coming years. His aim is to demonstrate the potential of the technology for products and processes with concrete examples and at the same time demystify the hype somewhat.
Reinhard Karger from DFKI sees "AI + humans = unbeatable together!". Current AI applications enable diagnostic support for doctors, more efficient processes in companies, relief from monotonous work routines, new forms of mobility, new services and business models, new consumer electronic products. But the variety of new tools does not yet lead to a general AI, a whole that is more than the sum of its parts.
Prof. Dr. Christoph Lütge from the Technical University of Munich sheds light on the topic of "Ethics in Artificial Intelligence". Artificial intelligence has the potential to improve the lives of many people in the long term, be it in healthcare, autonomous driving, big data applications, etc. But they need clear rules in order to realize this potential. These rules should not only be legal regulations; above all, ethical guidelines are needed to address widespread fears.
Ramine Roane, VP Software and AI Solutions Marketing at Xilinx, discusses the hardware and software platforms for artificial intelligence and introduces the main features of Domain Specific Architecture (DSA).
Three tracks on embedded, automotive and automation
Following the keynote session, the program will branch out into three tracks:
The "AI in Embedded Applications" track includes presentations from Qualcomm, STMicroelectronics, HS Fulda and the Hahn-Schickard-Gesellschaft, among others.
In the "AI in cars" track, the Tier 1 suppliers Continental, Valeo and ZF Friedrichshafen will have their say, as will AI experts from dSpace and Fraunhofer ESK, among others.
The "AI in the factory" track brings together AI experts from Fraunhofer IPA, Fraunhofer IIS/EAS, Mathworks, Lenze.Digital, Hentschel System and Balluff, among others.
All experts will also be available for discussions in smaller groups during the breaks! Take the opportunity to discuss your projects and ideas with AI experts. Register now - the early bird price applies until April 3, 2020.
