GFT takes over in-Integrierte Informationssysteme
GFT Technologies has announced the acquisition of software provider in-Integrierte Informationssysteme. The Constance-based company was acquired with effect from January 1, 2020.
The acquisition expands GFT' s expertise in the areas of store floor transparency and process integration for industrial clients. "Our growth strategy aims to provide our clients with a complete offering for the implementation of their digitalization strategy. To this end, we want to become even stronger in the horizontal networking of business processes and provide more of our own scalable software products. With in-GmbH, we are further expanding our asset-based strategy," says Michael Hecker, Director Industry at GFT. The company, which had already entered into a strategic partnership with GFT in summer 2019, will continue to operate independently. Company founder Siegfried Wagner will continue to act as Managing Director.
The expansion of the portfolio to include IoT and Industry 4.0 solutions is a key component of GFT's large-scale diversification strategy: the IT service provider, which has made a name for itself as a digitalization partner to the financial industry, is in the process of expanding its client base, particularly in the insurance and industrial sectors. For many industrial companies, the digitalization of their production and business processes with the help of IoT platforms is a key issue. With its cloud-enabled platform solution 'sphinx open online', in-GmbH has a set of tools in its portfolio that can be used to network, visualize, control and automate things and data - be it status reports from machines, energy consumption in buildings or intralogistics.
