The 'iCube Control' automation platform from Yaskawa is officially launched at the SPS: The first controllers from the control portfolio are available with the 'iC9226' series.

The 'iC9226' controller works with the 'profichip Triton' industrial processor and can control up to 64 servo axes synchronously. Based on Linux, it can be programmed using the 'iCube Engineer' software tool and can be equipped with or without an integrated dual processor safety CPU. Ethercat can be used to control not only servo drives and frequency inverters, but also Delta and Scara robots as well as customer-specific kinematics and other third-party devices. The iCube Control automation platform from Yaskawa forms a technically coordinated overall solution for industry-specific control systems - from the engineering software to the controller hardware to the integrated chip technology. The platform is gradually being expanded into a comprehensive system for motion control and automation.
