Strong growth in the new financial year
The Kempten-based Codesys Group (3S-Smart Software Solutions) achieved significant double-digit growth in the past financial year and sold more than one million licenses.
Specifically, the Codesys Group closed the 2018 financial year with sales growth of 21.6%. According to its own statement, the company is thus further expanding its position as the most widely used manufacturer-independent development suite in accordance with IEC 61131-3.
The 'Codesys Store' also performed well: almost 30,000 new users registered in 2018 to gain access to add-on products related to the IEC 61131-3 automation software Codesys. According to the Codesys Group, the store is now an important marketplace for its own software products and those of third-party providers, with annual sales of more than one million euros.
The goals for 2019 are also ambitious: the Codesys Automation Server is to be released by the end of the year as the third mainstay in the Codesys product portfolio. Another important milestone for 2019 is the completion of the extension, which will provide 800m2 of space for 56 new employees. The company plans to move into the new building at the beginning of April.
