New managing director appointed
Hitex, a provider of software and debugging tools for embedded systems, has appointed Jörg Stender as its new Managing Director. Stender takes over from Frank Hoschar, who left the Karlsruhe-based company at the end of June.
Jörg Stender was most recently Head of the Electrics/Electronics division at technology consultant Altran. The graduate electrical engineer began his career at Siemens, followed by management positions at Infineon and Qimonda. In addition to his extensive knowledge of the high-tech market, the 47-year-old has many years of management experience in the microcontroller segment and in technology consulting. His predecessor at Hitex, Frank Hoschar, had held the management position since 2014 and has now left the company at his own request.
