New Chairman of the Management Board in Germany

The Supervisory Board of ABB Germany has appointed Markus Ochsner as the new CEO of ABB AG in Germany. His predecessor Hans-Georg Krabbe will step down on December 31, 2020.

Markus Ochsner is currently Chief Financial Officer of ABB in Germany and has been a member of the Executive Board since September 1, 2010. The 57-year-old began his career at ABB after graduating in 1989 as a controller at an ABB subsidiary in Italy.

Hans-Georg Krabbe has been CEO of ABB Germany since January 2015. He will leave the Executive Board and ABB by mutual agreement on December 31, 2020.
