Sortienus
NC programming systems extensively expanded
Quadro NC is a 2½-D system for external NC programming of all common CNC controls for lathes, milling machines and machining centers.
In the new version 10.2 for Windows 10 of Sortienus, the options for contour input have now been expanded, among other things. Previously, NC programs could either be created in the editor or defined using geometry elements such as points, circles and lines. Now the geometry kernel also allows fast, direct geometry input. With a graphic simulation on the screen, finished NC programs are checked in the programming system before they are sent to the turning and milling machines. This makes it possible, for example, to ensure error-free machining with existing NC codes. A function has now been added to QuadroNC: After re-simulation of an existing NC program, the original geometry can be generated and output again. In this way, the geometry file can be used as the basis for variants or new components.
Further possibilities - from simple visualization to further processing in the CAD system - are opened up by output as a DXF graphics file.
