He then held various specialist and management positions in development and production and, above all, in sales in Germany and China. In addition, he studied business administration at the University of Hagen while working and completed his doctorate at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Chemnitz University of Technology. Most recently, he worked for Siemens as Executive Vice President of Siemens Limited China and then as Executive Vice President Large Drives in Nuremberg. He then returned to his previous position as Managing Director of wucherer consulting-technology.innovation.strategy.

With Wucherer's appointment, the company intends to continue implementing the realignment initiated by CEO Rolf Najork in 2016. Following his appointment as CEO at the beginning of 2016, Rolf Najork began a comprehensive realignment at Bosch Rexroth, which includes a new corporate culture and strategy as well as an organizational realignment. According to Najork, the aim of the changes is to make the company more customer-oriented, faster and more flexible. "We are focusing primarily on two aspects," he explains. "Strengthening excellence in all areas of our company, from development and production to sales. In addition, we will significantly increase our innovative strength and thus further accelerate our successful consolidation course."
