Siemens - 2nd quarter 2018'Digital Factory' sees double-digit growth
Siemens has announced its figures for the second quarter of fiscal year 2018: Group-wide, comparable sales were on a par with the previous year. Broken down into the individual business units, 'Digital Factory' recorded the highest growth.

In the Process Industries and Drives (PD) business, order intake increased due to the further stabilization of the raw materials markets. However, demand for the division's mechanical components once again fell sharply compared to the previous year; in geographical terms, China made the strongest contribution to growth.
