Siemens - 2nd quarter 2018'Digital Factory' sees double-digit growth
Siemens has announced its figures for the second quarter of fiscal year 2018: Group-wide, comparable sales were on a par with the previous year. Broken down into the individual business units, 'Digital Factory' recorded the highest growth.

Siemens' Mobility division (MO) recorded significant growth in order intake, mainly due to a very strong increase in the volume of major orders, including a €0.3 billion order for high-speed trains, including maintenance, in Turkey. In March 2018, Siemens and Alstom SA signed the 'Business Combination Agreement' on the planned merger of Siemens' mobility business and rail drives division with Alstom.
