Fast analog input processing

Real-time industrial controllers from Zander with deterministic response times of 2 to 3 µs have been in series production in packaging processes, for example, for several years. Now there are innovations.

A new feature is the fast analog input processing, which records signals from 0 to 10 V as well as from 0 to 20 mA and processes them within 10 µs. Further variants with analog inputs and analog outputs will be presented at the beginning of 2022. They enable processing from the analog input to the analog output within around 20 µs, allowing process or measured values to be recorded and processed almost 'real-time', according to the provider. The expansion of communication interfaces is also growing continuously. In addition to Profinet, Ethercat and Modbus, the first controller types will support OPC UA and TSN in 2022.

For horizontal networking, the controllers have the 'ZanderLink' protocol, which allows Zander 's 'ZX' controllers to be logically networked with each other within a few µs. The controllers are programmed using the 'Ex_Press 5' application software. Structured text in accordance with EN 61131-3 is used as the language.
